The acceptance test of a Sterostab voltage stabilizer equipped with an automatic reactive energy compensation system has just been completed.
This equipment will power an industrial plant in a newly established industrial plant in a Central African country.
The peculiarity of this project is the ability of the voltage stabilizer to receive and manage the power supply from two different energy sources by integrating an automatic power switch.

The voltage stabilizer is equipped with an automatic power factor correction system PFC-500-100A capable of compensating a reactive power of 500kVAr and capable of operating in the presence of a harmonic content in the network of 100%.
The power factor correction system is integrated into the stabilizer with which it interacts in synergy to improve power quality by reducing the amplitude variation and compensating for reactive energy.
The instrumentation integrated in the operator panel allows you to view the electrical parameters relating to the input and output network as well as the reactive power levels implemented by the steps of the capacitor banks.
The development of this solution is the result of the continuous cooperation with the end customer, which led to the realization of the expectations for this new production facility.
