New IREM catalogue POWER LIGHTING 2021

Xenon lamps are special gas discharge lamps that operate on direct current (DC). Inside them, an electric arc passes through two electrodes inside a bulb filled with high-pressure Xenon gas. This process produces an intense and bright light, available immediately upon ignition, similar to natural sunlight.

IREM is engaged in the field of lighting large sporting events with the innovative solutions of the POWER LIGHTING line.

To ensure a long operational life of solar simulation lights, a very stable current and low ripple are required. For this reason, it is essential to use specific power supplies and igniters.

Naval search lights with xenon lamps are essential for safe navigation in conditions of poor visibility. Thanks to their intense white light, they can penetrate through fog, rain and even rough waters, providing reliable guidance for moving ships.

The FAI (Italian Environment Fund) on the occasion of the Spring Days has chosen to pay homage to the founder of IREM, Mario Celso, with a series of initiatives to remember the origins of his career and the consequent birth of IREM.
