POWER LIGHTING

In off-grid hydroelectric systems, without connection to the national power grid, energy management often represents a complex challenge. Demand peaks, overloads, energy waste, and poor power quality are frequent issues that can compromise the efficiency and stability of the system.

This video illustrates how adopting a Power Integrator can significantly improve POWER QUALITY and ensure a more reliable distribution of energy in stand-alone hydroelectric systems. The solution developed by IREM has been specifically designed to optimize the performance of HYDRO POWER plants operating in stand-alone mode.

The use of IREM Power Pilot makes it possible to:

  • Manage electrical loads effectively, even under critical operating conditions;
  • Increase the overall efficiency of the hydroelectric plant;
  • Maximize the use of renewable energy produced locally;
  • Protect sensitive equipment thanks to improved power supply quality.

The Power Pilot can be configured upstream of all loads or applied only to the most problematic ones, ensuring maximum flexibility according to the characteristics of the plant. This approach allows operators of stand-alone HYDRO POWER plants to achieve more stable performance and longer operating life of the equipment involved.

By improving POWER QUALITY and optimizing energy use, IREM Power Pilot represents an effective solution to the challenges of off-grid hydroelectric generation.
