STAND ALONE INSTALLATIONS

IREM system for stand-alone hydroelectric plants is characterised by a reliable and simple to install solution, capable to generate electric power with a high level of power quality. The electronic regulators coupled to the control board make a real time regulation of the necessary mains frequency (50 or 60 Hz) getting a perfect balance between the generated power of the hydroelectric turbine and the power used by the users.
IREM system turbine-control board-regulators was developped following the principles of reliability, efficiency and simplicity.
This design philosophy has allowed to get plants with high performances and really low maintenance, easy to install and to manage.

IREM supplies the main components that make a plant capable to work in stand-alone. This type of plant is used where the electrical grid is not present. The generated power will be used by a number of users that are normally near the hydroelectric plant. Traditional application areas are the rural electrification and the electrification of developing countries. In this type of hydroelectric plants is essential to have simple systems:
easy to install and really low maintenance.
