TPA – TPS

Pelton are completely designed and produced by IREM and ensure a simple operation in order to minimize installation, start-up and maintenance.
Suitable for medium-high head, from 20 to 600 meters, and flow rates ranging from 0,5 to 400 liters per second.
The main feature of Pelton IREM is the 6-jets distributor that allows compact size and very flexible of water flow regulation by means of the six nozzles, in addition to ensuring very good efficiency by changing the flow.
The Pelton turbines IREM are reliable and sturdy industrial products, designed for easy installation even in areas hard to reach.
They are manufactured in compliance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE.

TPA – TPS are vertical axis Pelton turbines with runner composed of buckets in stainless steel made by precision casting in order to last for long time and ensure high quality.
The disk diameter as well as buckets size are designed on specific hydraulic conditions.
The runner is directly connected on the generator shaft to improve the global efficiency of the group.
The distributor is manufactured in welded steel protected by a cycle of galvanization and paint of high resistance, which guarantees unlimited life. On demand, the distributor can be completely manufactured in stainless steel.
The runner-generator group can be easily lifted up/down in order to ease the inspection inside the machine and keep always under control the runner and nozzles status.
This permits time saving during maintenance and ensures always high efficiency as well as easy handling during the installation.
The nozzles can be in stainless steel or minlon plastic resin depending on the head and machine model. Both materials ensure a precise and better shape of the jet to contribute a better efficiency of the group.
