The most complete solution is provided with automatic regulation of the flow and automation systems equipped with several options, for example the remote control through computer, tablet or smartphone. These solutions are ideal for mini-hydroelectric plants with high power where it is essential to optimize the performance of the complete system and constantly keep an eye the hydraulic and electrical data.
For smaller hydroelectric plants IREM proposes simpler solutions, with manual regulation of the flow and basic functions for automation and monitoring. In this way also the low powers are economically advantageous.
The system IREM hydroelectric turbine-control board has been studied pursuing the principles of reliability, efficiency and simplicity. This design philosophy has allowed to get hydroelectric plants with high performances and really low maintenance, easy to install and to manage.
IREM GRID CONNECTION ECOWATT HYDRO

IREM supplies the main components that make a plant connected to the national grid. In this type of plant the hydroelectric turbine is made with a view to produce energy to be sold to the electric grid. The performances of the hydroelectric turbines and its components are essential to guarantee the attended return of the investment.

GRID CONNECTION HYDRO TURBINES

IREM is now able to offer Generation Units compliant with CEI 0-21 2022-03, thus avoiding costly and complex commissioning tests for its customers.

The standard specifies that, in order to obtain certification, rotating generators must undergo “tests performed by accredited laboratories” and explicitly states that these tests must be conducted on the Generation Unit defined by the following main components: “…Generator, Generator voltage regulator (not applicable for asynchronous generators), Prime mover, Prime mover control system, Any additional systems used for reactive power control…” (See Bter.1 execution of tests).

IREM has successfully performed and passed all the tests required by the standard, conducting the complete set of field tests. Thanks to the characteristics of its production system, standardization processes, and highly industrialized product, IREM is able to offer CEI 0-21 compliant generation units consisting of TPA model turbines and QPR model panels with a capacity of up to 200 kW
