Banki are completely designed and produced by IREM and ensure a simple operation in order to minimize installation, start-up and maintenance.
The turbines cross flow IREM are suitable for lowmedium head, from 5 to 50 meters, and flow rates ranging from 10 to 1500 liters per second.
The main features of Banki IREM are the simplicity and strength of the machine that allow a compact design and long lasting life even in the worst environmental conditions.
The turbines IREM are reliable and sturdy industrial products designed for easy installation even in areas hard to reach.
They are manufactured in compliance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE.

TBA – TBS are Banki (or crossflow) turbines with runner in stainless steel composed of blades welded on the side plates.
The turbine shaft transfers the generated power to the generator by a transmission group made of pulleys and toothed belt, properly sheltered. This system makes the group very sturdy and reliable.
The flow regulation is made of deflector either manual or activated by electric actuator.
The machine is completely assembled, all the components are installed on a frame base utilized for fixing the whole group on the floor. This eases the installation operations and handling and improves the stability of the group.
The inspection door on the introducer allows an easy access inside the turbine.
The transmission group is properly sheltered in order to keep safe the working area when the machine is running and keeps the transmission belt and pulleys clean.
