The control boards QPR are an important component of the hydroelectric plant installed in parallel to the electrical grid.
To connect the turbine-generator group to the national grid is necessity to install a control board of automation and parallel to the grid, which optimize the plant management considering the relevant regulations.
Three functions are assigned to QPR control boards:
- electrical connection of the hydroelectric plant to the national electric grid satisfying the regulatory requirements;
- manage the electrical actuators for the regulation of the flow;
- monitor all parameters of the plant.
The most complete solutions are equipped with several options, for example the remote control through computer, tablet or smartphone. Complete sensors devices such as temperature, vibration, loading tank water level and pressure sensors.
These solutions are perfect for mini-hydro plants with medium-high power, where it is essential to control the electrical and hydraulic data continuously.
