The 2D class of the Jacquerio middle school in Buttigliera Alta wins the first prize in the “Bella Storia” competition organized by the Ambienta Foundation and dedicated to the issues of environmental sustainability which involved over eighty schools.
The 2D told the “beautiful story” of IREM, which has been in the renewable energy and energy saving sector for years. History started from an intuition and a patent of the founder Mario Celso to improve film projection and become a company with prestigious international contracts and collaborations.
The story impressed the jury of the competition so much so that it deserved the first prize, the 3D printer.
To crown the objective achieved, a visit of the boys to the company’s plants in Borgone was also organized and subsequently a stop at a hydroelectric plant in Gravere, Val di Susa, which uses a turbine manufactured by IREM.
The visit finally ended with a lunch at the “Cascina Roland” restaurant in Villarfocchiardo to celebrate this “Beautiful Story” together.
It was a pleasure and an honor for Irem to host the boys of 2D, a special occasion in which thanking the boys for the splendid work done and the prestigious goal achieved.
