Hot restrike igniters AD-ADT series / Igniters for HID lamps - Professional lighting
The standard igniters of AD and ADT series are based on the principle of high voltage superimposing. These igniters are made up of a HF noise suppression filter, a step-up transformer, a H.F. pulse generator (i.e. HV capacitors and spark gap) and a H.V. coil. All these components are assembled into a box having a high protection degree. ADT models are equipped with a built-in timer unit, whereas AD models can be fitted with two different kinds of external timer unit. The function of the timer is to monitor the mains status and lamp conditions and to automatically operate the igniter in case the lamp turns off. All igniters are fitted with two high temperature silicone cables for lamp connection. These cables are cured to reduce the degassing phenomenon. |
